Support and Software Maintenance

A valid Support and Maintenance contract is often a necessary evil, kind of like an insurance policy. It's the contract your organization can lean on if all goes pear-shaped.

You get access to our support line for technical issues, access to bug fixes and release updates for a flat monthly fee.

1. When is our support staff available to you?

18 hours per day - 7 days a week - 360 days a year. 8:00 am to 23:59 pm GMT.

2. Bug fixes? Isn't that free?

Generally, updates fix known performance issues and provide enhancements to the Promptchat application and yes these are issued for free. These software updates are made available to all customers and would generally be available in a secure area on our website on the http://promptchat.com/downloads page.

3. How often do you release updates?

Promptchat release updates as either cascading dot releases or as full releases. A dot release would take you from 4.1 to 4.3 for example and a full release from 4.2 to 5.0.

A valid maintenance agreement allows for full release upgrades. The release cycle of updates to the Promptchat application is generally 6 months and we offer a two-year full release cycle. Promptchat continue to improve on what you have invested in!

If you feel that maintenance is not required, we also offer a support-only contract which priced accordingly.

4. What if Promptchat hosts my system?

If you host your Promptchat server with us, you get access to all software updates and technical support for free for the duration of the contract.

5. How can I sign up for the Support and Maintenance contract?

6. How do I get in touch with support?

We operate a Skype account id: Promptchatsupport.

Simply add this Skype account and note your customerID in the authorization request. Upon verifying your customerID, you will be authorized to access our instant support line.
